AN IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SOLAR HOUSEHOLDS
While in most cases EDMI meters work great with Powerpal if you have rooftop solar it is important to check that your meter's pulse output stops flashing when your solar is exporting to the grid. Check this by observing your meter in the middle of the day when the sun is shining - if you see the light marked Pulse 1 (or OP1) flashing rapidly then your meter is NOT compatible with Powerpal.
The pulse rate to enter into the app for your EDMI meter will in most cases be 1000, but may sometimes be 100 - you can use the "kettle test" to confirm the right value for your meter.
The rectangular shaped bracket fits this meter type best. Simply fix the bracket so you can see the left most red light flashing through the hole in the bracket (usually marked Pulse 1 or OP1).
